The 5th edition of the Kids For Kids Festival was a huge success. Here are the films which received an award:

 

INTERNATIONAL YOUTH JURY

6 to 12 year-old

ANIMATION: Trouver Chaussure à son Pied (The Perfect Fit), Belgium

LIVE ACTION: Princess Sunflower and the Dragon, USA

ONE MINUTE FILM: A World in Crisis: Waiting for Meltdown, Canada

GRAND PRIX: Historia Stara Jak Swiat (History as Old as the Hills), Poland

For a film that comes from the heart of one child about a very important matter that touched him, and can touch everybody.

13 to 16 year-old

ANIMATION: Kär (Love) Sweden

LIVE ACTION: Hell Hath no Fury, UK

ONE MINUTE FILM: Ekspansjia (Expansion) Poland

GRAND PRIX: The Looking Glass, UK

An amazingly well done film, with music that sends shivers down your spine.

A film that depicts the vision of a child that uses lessons from the past in order to propose the buildup of a better future.  Excellence in all domains of filmmaking.

ANIMATION: The Ballad of King Jimmy, USA

LIVE ACTION: Hast Du Angst? (Are you Frightened), Germany

ONE MINUTE FILM: El Duelo (The Duel), Spain

GRAND PRIX:  Kär (Love), Sweden

A film that captures lessons of love through an exquisite work of animation underlining the importance of love with humour, sincerity and excellent use of music as a mean of a better dialogue.
