We are still receiving votes from the International Children Jury and will soon announce the winners of the 2008 competition.

In the meantime, the DVD compilation is ready!  Exceptionally, this year, the 2008 DVD contains all the 50 films selected for the official competition, including the winners of the following 2008 affiliated events : KFKF Africa, KFKF Balkan and Nordic and Baltic KFKF.

This compilation will truly give you a fantastic overview of the best films made by kids from all over the world.  You don’t want to miss it!

News from our Affiliated events and info on our brand new KFKF partner in the UK!

Do you have films made by young filmmakers between 6 and 16 years old within the past year and a half? Or perhaps you are a young filmmaker yourself?

It can be animation, live action (fiction, documentary or art) or 1minute films.

IMPORTANT: to be eligible, the film must be cleared of rights, especially musical rights since the winners will be part of the Global Kids For Kids Festival.

So, if you answer yes, and you live inthe UK, Africa or the Balkans, there is a Kids For Kids Festival near you waiting for your films! See below for more details and deadline for entries.

On the other hand, if you live in the Nordic and Baltic region, please check the list of winners from the  KFK Festival held last March below

The 1st KKFK UK will be receiving your films until July 31st!

We are very happy and proud to announce that Jack Drum Arts will host the first Kids For Kids Festival in the UK! 

It is currently accepting submission. Selected films for the competition section will be screened at their festival that will take place in the City of Durham on the weekend of 18th and 19th October 2009.

3rd Kids For Kids Africa Competition call for film submission

The 3rd Kids For Kids Competition will be held in Nairobi, Kenya, during the 4th Lola Kenya Screen audiovisual media initiative for children and youth in eastern Africa (August 10-15, 2009).

All films should have been made in 2008 and 2009 only.

Any film in a language other than English must be sub-titled in English.

The 4th Balkan KFKF will be held from November 4th to 6th in Serbia.

The 2nd Nordic and Baltic Kids For Kids Festival was held in March 2009.
