This film bubbles with creativity and humor. The filmmakers show that they really enjoy storytelling. The jury finds this film a genuine children’s story, where their influence upon a result is total – both when it comes to the expressive animated characters and the narrative. |

The prize goes to an incredibly funny and original film. It had great music and a brilliant energy, and it had the audience in stitches. |

An every day story with originality and humor. The filmmaker opens his door to his private room but his story is nevertheless universal. Although the filmmaker was more in front of the camera than behind it, his personal touch is genuine and visible in all parts of the production. |

This was the hardest category to judge, as the standard was so high in all the films. However the chosen one stood out because of its illuminating humor, the great acting and the simplicity of the tale. |

S.O.F.I.A. FOUNDATION PRIZE FOR MOST PROMISING YOUNG FILM MAKER
The S.O.F.I.A. Foundation Prize goes to a young person who has shown exceptional sophistication in this festival. He has shown an appreciation of the beauty of film and an understanding of the power of stillness. He has shown that he has the initiative to really stretch the boundaries of young filmmaking.
We think he has a very promising future in the world of film…
